| 内容記述 | Several studies reported social communication disability is co-occurred with developmental disorders such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder. However, relationship between empathic disfunction and developmental disorders is still unclear. This study examined prosocial behavior toward distressed conspecifics in Tsukuba Highand Lowemotional strains (THE and TLE), those were known as animal model of congenital behavioral disorders. THE, TLE and Wistar rats were tested whether they open a door to help a same-strain cagemate soaked with water within 10 min for 10 trials. We found the Wistar rats learned helping behavior faster than those in the THE and TLE. Furthermore, locomotor activities during habituation period in the THE were lower than that in the TLE and Wistar rats. These results suggest prosocial behavior in Tsukuba emotional strains is possibly useful as behavioral model of empathic disfunction in developmental disorders. | |||||||
